Bitch Bitch Bitch, Whine Whine Whine
I have been back home for less than a week, and already I am beginning to remember why it was so nice to be 3000 miles away with a place of my own.
Coming up in just a few weeks is my annual Greek Easter celebration. It is a tradition I have been doing for just under 10 years, and one which I am rather proud of and looking forward to continuing.
Having informed my family I had just sent out the invitations I am instantly greeted with anger and complaints
” Why did you do that before telling me who was coming?”
“Why couldn’t you wait 5 minutes so I could include my friends on it?”
“Why did you say it was YOUR party?”Really? Are you kidding me?
I said it was MY party because I am the one who does all the work, learned the traditions, and puts it on. The fact that you wish to add your friends to the list does not make it a joint party. (now I have no problem with his friends being added, but lets give credit where it is due, shall we?)
As for why I sent it out…well, the date of easter isnt changing, so if my family is planning on inviting anyone, they are more than welcome to, but I need to give my friends time to respond since again, this being MY tradition, I am known for doing it. And however many people decide to show up at a HOUSE, I was accomodating 20 people at my apt for this cooking all by myself, so I didnt really think any of this would be an issue.
*sigh*
I hope I can pay off enough of my debt to move out sooner rather than later. It’s a lot easier to get along with my family when I have somewhere I can escape to if I need it.

OMG… that is so true.. I agree with you on the whole getting along with family when you have a place to escape to..
I TOTALLY understand. It is nice to save money on rent, though…right? I’m sure the party will be a great success like always.
I feel the same way bro.
you can come to our house and spend the night before getting drunk at Damian’s 1st birthday, hahahaha. no, really
Alternatively, you could kill your family and keep the house for free.
oh god, i know how it is coming home to that.
