  • So close to getting my fast interent connection and not having to rely on a modem *breaks down into tears of joyful anticipation* then i can finally post all my japan pics…hooray.

Aside from that, the last few weeks have been tremendous. I get back from japan and find out i evidently get paid vacations at my workplace!-so money for me.

Oh yeah…and i won the office raffle while i was gone-so more money for me yay again

and spent yesterday at the Dave Matthews Band Concert…The set was awesome. Dave played a bucnh of classics like satellite, all along the watchtower and ants marching…also played newer stuff like grey street, stay, everyday…all in all i enjoyed it, As i have every year

A brief aside: The dave concert is a summer tradition my brother and I have been doing for the last 5 years…every year the two of us go, and have an awesome time…ususally bring friendz with us as well, and this year I brought ravette…i.e. the girl i been dating…not real names obviously…i like to keep my readers in suspense …and although she is not a DMB fan, she seemed to have a good time, and i got to include her in what has become an even my bro and i look forward to every year…yay.

So Good music, good company, good luck…I guess it a good thing I did all those good luck ceremonies and purification rituals in Japan…I must have made the shinot gods happy…now if only that luck will carry over to my med school applications

Thus far i have receied secondaries to the following schools who are at the least pretending to want more info about me and hopefully do: University of Chicago Pritzker, Dartmouth, University of Chicago Illinois, UC Irvine, and Stonybrook University in New York…SO out of 25 schools I applied to, in only a week since submitting, 1/5 of those school want me to continue the process…nice…now where is a shinto temple when you need one? Ari, please pray for me while you are in Japan…also did you feel the earthquake, my japan-dwelling tomodachi? then you should be going to the temples anyway…toss in go or ju en for me

    moral of the story: must…keep…japanese…gods…happy
