Why hasn’t anyone mentioned LASIK surgery to clark kent? I got it done, and w/o my glasses, people still can’t seem to see past my mild-mannered student identity. For that matter, superman could be performing lasik and getting so much more money than working as a reporter…maybe he could even afford a house-coz after all, where did superman go when he wasn’t saving people or working for the daily planet? Lois’ couch? I just can’t see being a superhero as lending itself to a middle or upper-class lifestyle. Unless you are batman. Who kicks ass, btw. Because batman is the hero any of us could be given dedication, training, and deep psychological trauma. The millions of dollars doesn’t hurt either, nor does that utility belt.

No1 mentioned it mainly because it didn’t exist back then. Even today, his cornea would reflect the laser back out and either destroy the LASIK machine or blind the operator, thereby creating another supervillain. It’s a lose-lose situation. And i think there are several high status superheros. Wonderwoman for one (she’s a queen right?). As for me, I’ve got 2 of the 5 requirements to becoming batman. But I’d think i’d become more of a punisher character than batman. Or maybe I can become SuperNinja right now. ~whoosh!
what was that? I don’t know, use your imagination.
