I’m king of the world! or at least the tub
So after what hasd been a tremendously long hiatus from xanga, (at least for me) I have returned triumphant bearing good news
First and most importantly, I now know what I will be doing next year with my life, and it turns out I won’t be homeless! I have been accepted to the applied physiology masters program at Finch University (now RosalindFranklin University) of health sciences in chicago. Basically, I will study my ass off and receive my master’s in physiology, then re-apply to medical school showing them I can, in fact, get the grades that they rate so highly over everything else.
So I have suffered a minor setback to the med school track but can resume my plans tomorrow night

why josh? what are we going to do tomorrow night?
Same thing we do every night pinky…try to TAKE OVER THE WORLD…by becoming a doctor
Aside from that, I had yet another stand up comedy performance on friday april 30th, during which I had yet another good set. I know I did well, because strangers and other comics told me so. I like this whole monthly gig thing I have going on at the comedy union. And when I go to chicago, I can reuse a bunch of my acts, because it will be all new audiences
I have also been starting up a new hospital internship program with some friends, similar to the Care Extender Program I am currently a department coordinator in. SO I will have much new material to add to my application next year.
Did I mention that I got a second job? (2nd paying job aside from eye stuff, 3rd if you count comedy, 5th if you count the two volunteer thingies, but who can count that high) My new job, if I decide to keep it, will be telemarketing almost. I essentially got hired by a head-hunting corporation to call up video-game programmers and seduce them over to our clients over the phone. What’s the catch you ask? It all has to be done in JAPANESE
I am a japanese language telemarketer…this will mean lots of keigo…groans of sympathy from fello japanese students, i know. However, it will be a great chance to see how much of a conversation I really can hold. Perhaps pera pera ja nai ga, motto renshuu wo shimasu yo. However, i mayu not have the time to do this job, what with graduating and desperately searching for financial aid and all, so we will have to see. But at least I got it, which is nice
And of course Capoeira

I have started training more often now at the academy, in hopes of achieving my yellow cord at the next bautizado. Oh, and that photo? It’s just trick photography, those guys are really holding on to the grass so they dont fall off the earth
SO yes, I have been tremendously busy, and posts will probably be few and far between for a while until I catch up with everything. But, c’est la vie
Until next time
