  • Meh. went though the usual saturday routine. Going out to a Hookah Bar tonite. Here’s whats in the news

    Saddam and Gomorrah

Oh I have so been waiting to use that one. So the two main tactics of the GOP this election? A vote for Kerry will either support terrorists, or gay up America (ed. Not the author’s opinion…anyone but Bush 2004)

    Saddam

Endorsing Bush’s reelection at the Republican National Convention on September 1, Democratic Senator Zell Miller charged that the very act of campaigning against Bush in an election year was unpatriotic and dangerous. (J-when exactly should one campaign against him them?)

“At the same time young Americans are dying in the sands of Iraq, in the mountains of Afghanistan (newsweb sites), our nation is being torn apart and made weaker because of the Democrats’ manic obsession to bring down our commander in chief,” Miller said

Please Please Please vote people…this year more than ever you can’t afford to be apathetic.

    …and Gomorrah
SUMMARY: On Thursday the Republican Party owned up to sending mass mailings that demonize homosexuals and predict liberals would ban the Bible if Democrats won in November

Portrait of a caring conservative-”The RNC spokesperson said that gay people basically brought this upon themselves by pushing for marriage equality,” (Ed. RNC=Republican National Committee)

Man’s Best Friend can tell if Urine danger of cancer…

Scientists said Friday dogs can be used to detect bladder cancer by smelling urine.

There is already anecdotal evidence of dogs alerting their unsuspecting owners of skin cancer by persistently sniffing suspicious moles which were later diagnosed as malignant

    -Rook, Raggy! Cancer!
-And I would have gotten you too, if it wasnt for those crazy kids and their damn dog

Now on to the longer part of the post…

It’s about 3am, and I just got back from a tremendous night where the following things happened

    * Enjoyed a peach hookah filtered through red wine while watching a belly dancer
*Imbibed 2 Newcastles at Caps Bar, and sung along to such hits as Jesse’s Girl, and Santa Ria
*Purchased an amazing hot dog at 2AM for only $2.35, which came with fries. The hot dog place was down the street from the bar, and was recommended by the bouncer, who had to stop reading his romance novel to impart this valuable information
*While eating said hot dog, random girl walks up to our table and says

“This may sound kind of cheesy, but one of you guys has to have a girlfriend, and I think she would like this”

She then proceeds to plunk down a beenie baby on our table. Upon further questioning, we learn that Gary Sinise’s band was playing at another bar, and he was tossing them out to people. The girl snagged like 5, and wanted to give one to us…why? who knows. To add to the strangeness, she looked oddly like Fairuza Balk from the craft

Pic included even though I know you ALL have seen The Craft

So yeah, for all the reasons above, I love living in a city.

Sorry bout the recipe korner…I promise I will post something tomorrow…I tired now.

“What’s that Lassie? Timmy has cancer? well, I guess we have no choice but to shoot him”
