Man, am I getting sporadic about posting again, or what?
Chicago Declares Oct 6 Murder Free Monday
“Not since 1999 has the city gone with zero homicides and zero aggravated batteries by firearm in a single day, a police spokesman said”

Makes me proud to be livin it a city. I think we should continue this theme. Think about it-
Murder Free Monday
Tax-evasion Tuesday
White Collar Crime Wednesday
you get the idea. Of course, Murder Free Monday will probably turn into stagnation thursday as the cops actually find the body and learn the criminals did not murder, they just got better at corpse hide and seek.
In other news, both Rodney Dangerfield and Janet Leigh (of psycho fame) have died this week, leaving old celebrities everywhere staying up at night until the third one kicks the bucket.
I’m sorry, that was insensitive of me. What I meant to say was shuffles off this mortal coil.
Next week is the last week of class before finals. This first quarter has just blown by. I have worked harder than I ever have in my life, and while I have put in some serious study hours, it never seems to be enough. However, even when the excessive hours get boring, the material is still interesting to learn about which is always nice.
The good news is I have near straight A’s at the moment, my sole B being in Biology. The irony, of course, is that despite being a BIOLOGY major (Ed. well, psychobiology) for 5 years, I have never received an A in any bio class. perhaps it is just not meant to B. (haha, get it?)
Right.
Anyway, back to work. Next post probably another recipe corner if Aytch tells me what kind of food he wants-or anyone leaves me a comment. Really, I am an attention whore.

I knew about Janet Leigh but not Rodney Dangerfield. You ever see Back to School?
*evil grin*
Here, have some more attention
And after the fried rice theme, I challenge you on your next recipe to find a dish using the leftovers of the previous dishes (sliced olives, artichokes, mushrooms, peas, chicken) using the theme of alaskan king crab (or something affordable).
It’s iron chef meets macgyver
