• Alrighty very very short post…

  Pictures have been posted! A lot of them!

  Most recently, a dinner I cooked for some friends a few days
  ago…vegan Italian Stir Fry…much as I usually deplore fusion
  cooking, when I do it, it’s different The Recipe will be posted in
  the reviews section of my xanga in a couple days when I have some free
  time

  Underneath all those pics…the other day I went to Body Worlds at the
  CHicago Museum of Science and Industry and golly gee whillikers it was
  so much of the awesome!…but those pictures are not available yet, as
  they are on someone else’s camera.

  This is because when I went down to the city on Sunday, the exhibit was
  sold out…as we did not know museum exhibits could be sold out, Jayan,
  Tony, Ritika, Brown Josh and I decided we were not going to waste a
  trip to the city…so instead we wandered around downtown Chicago going
  to our favorite bar for some midday cocktails…

  Remember Kids, your not an alcoholic as long as you drink less than your doctor!

  So yah, I got a Calcarinha, which is a Brazilian Drink made from lime,
  cane sugar, and Carachas…It was quite strong and good times were
  had…I dont quite remember what everyone else had, but my damn folding
  chair kept collapsing underneath me everytime I stood up and it wad
  quite embarassing til I had a few more drinks and no longer cared.

  The we drunkenly rambled around the city some more til we sobered up,
  drove back to north chicago and spent some time in the anatomy lab with
  Charles…yay! what a way to end the day!

  Underneath those pictures is the poker tournament I hosted a few weeks
  ago with my buddy George. The Pics are pretty self explanatory…it was
  a Texas Hold Em tournament with a 20 dollar buy in and the top 3
  winners paid out in percentages. we had 17 people play so good times
  were had by all…although no money for me. how sad.

  Alrighty so That is that for pics…the other thing that It is a moral imperative to tell you about is
  

  

  Oh yes, it’s a real holiday. And it will
  really be celebrated. Here are some things to start getting you in the
  mood. Also, i can just copy and paste this post on actual talk like a
  pirate day if I get to drunk to remember to put something original up

  And because Escapism
  was nice enough to throw up a porn reference in her post just for me,
  and because I know she be a bonny lass who have a true love of the
  pirates, I am going to share with you all My Pirates of The Caribbean
  Drinking Game

  Pirates of the Carribean Drinking Game Rules

  1.Everybody’s must be drinking something with Rum…even if you are adding it to beer. A true pirate always has rum!
  2. Everyone must have some article of clothing that is piratical…headband, eyepatch etc
  3. Everyone may only speak like Pirates…that means only present tense and at least one yarr or me hearty every other sentence

  If any of the top three rules are broken, the one who broke it must
  walk the plank: i.e. a straight shot of rum first, then they must walk
  a straight line (on a plank if you have it, go rob a construction site
  or break down some old furniture) If they fall off the plank come up
  with your own penalty….we usually make them take a penalty shot or at
  the least a cup of salt water

  Now on to the actual drinking game:

  4.Whenever the words “Pirates” “of” “the” or “Carribean” is spoken, take a drink
  5. Whenever someone says “yarr” or “Arrgh” take a drink
  6. If the word “booty” is used, take two drinks
  7. Whenever you see a parrot or a monkey take a drink

  That’s it…and if it dont get you fall down drunk, then you are a true pirate. Good for you!

  For added zest, throw in a dinner with carribean recipes…thats what I will be doing and there will be pics for all!
