  i may have to revise my first estimate for posting china pics, folks

  of course i am sure you are saying by this point, that’s okay josh, as
  we were not actually reading your site anyway since you dont bother to
  update anymore

  well, i apologize for that, but it looks as though given my new insane
  m2 schedule, i am only going home to eat and sleep and the rest of my
  time is spent mostly in study and not being on the interweb…however,
  i shall still have my one day off, and then i shall post to your hearts
  content…or at least to mine

  there is something so frustrating about studying in the sense that at
  the end of the day, you have no tangible evidence that you have
  accomplished anything. I mean, if you install a new showerhead, or air
  conditioner (both of which i did this week) or even cook a meal, you
  have something to show for it at the end. With studying however, you
  sit there and read and read and the next morning you have no clue if
  anything that you saw will seem familiar or be remembered…dang.

  also this year we begin doing some more parts of the physical exam in
  ICM, starting with the male and female exams…that’s right, i am
  speaking of the prostate and gynecological exams. I have been peering
  into rubber hoo-ha’s and shoving my finger up model behinds (model as
  in fake, not as in heidi klum, although i certainly would not turn down
  that opportunity ) in preparation for the actual real live
  gynecological exam i will perform tomorrow, exactly 2 days after
  learning the technique…so studying a bit for that…no pressure right?

  we were also informed that a large part of our tutition this year is
  going to pay the standardized patients for their time and i say money
  well spent to that. These poor people, or sick and twisted individuals,
  or saintly models of teaching, whatever you prefer, have actually
  volunteered their most intimate parts to be examined by several medical
  students in a day, and not just several, but several inexperienced and
  first timers…i mean at least in anatomy lab, the teacher was dead and
  past the point of caring how we violated them and if we made
  mistakes…yeesh. So diving right in, so to speak
