  • More Dirty Pnemonics and New Comics!

Man, i have been studying way way too long. How do i know this? Well first off, we have been going to the same starbucks to study on so many occasions that the day managers give us food like muffins and scones when they get off shift, and the night managers keep telling us to bring in our own mugs so we dont have to spend so much on teas and coffee.

    Not that I am complaining

BTW, did you know that all hot drink refills at starbucks are only 53 cents? that means that the cup itself is more expensive than the actual liquid inside it, and starbucks is making a ridiculous fortune charging 4 bucks for a drink. And the green tea latte is awesome

    but i digress

So today’s dirty yet memorable mnemonics for micro are:

Syhphilis, a well known STD initially presents as an painless ulcer on the male genitalia. So how do you remember what drug to tx syphilis with? Answer: use PENIS-illin!

Next one. Azithromycin is a wonderful antibiotic that can be used to treat any diseases that may involve transmission by cats:  Bartonella Henselae, Bartonella Quintana, Chlamydia Trachomatis, and Neisseria Gonorrhea. But Josh, you are probably asking yourself, how in the world did chlamydia and the clap get onto that list. Well folks, what is a word for the female genitalia that is a synonym for cat?

Be offended by me now, ladies, but remember the bacteria later

And yes, I know yesterday was friday and i missed posting a comic. But I have a good explanation (though not excuse). My webcomic will now be run on a fancy-schmancy comic website. www.straighttohell.comicgenesis.com

i am in the process of uploading all my comics there now, and the server will automatically update the comic once every week! neato torpedo, huh? But to make up for the error, Here are two episodes for you

  • hahahaha – oh that’s hilarious

  • Sweet deal with the starbucks staff.  In Japan that’s called “service” (when you get free stuff for being a regular).  I thought Azithromycin was pretty much the antibiotic of choice for damn near anything.  : )  Keep at it.    Oh, what “kind” of doctor do you want to be?

  • So refills at Starbucks are only $.53??? That’s useful info for us non-medically inclined.  :)
