• The Small Things in life

  Since I haven’t posted one of these in a while. How do I let the big things pass me by? By focusing on the small things

  It’s the small things in life like…

  …opening up the menu at a new restaurant you are trying

  …a warm sunny day after a long cold winter

  …friendly sarcasm.

  …free drinks at the starbucks you study at every day.

  …taking a photo and realizing it came out better than expected..

  …rembering something that amused you as a child, and realizing it still amuses you.

  …receiving a postcard.

  …watching a tv show with friends, even if you all just making fun of it.

  …playing with new gagdets.

  …cocktails that dont leave the taste of alcohol in your mouth.

  …late night AIM conversations.

  …scratching mosquito bites and/or itches.

  …cooking a meal for a friend

  ….lying on the grass staring up at the clouds

  …getting a thank you when it wasnt expected

  …knowing your self image matches what your friends think of you

  …the feeling right after finishing any physical activity

  …the occasional afternoon where there is absolutely nothing you need to do and nowhere to be

  …toasting with friends

  …cadbury eggs

  …talking with friends you haven’t seen in a while

  …getting comments on an entry (hint hint )

  …sliding around on a tile floor in socks

  …the smell of gasoline at the pump

  …flipping a coin
