• Ah, Back in North Chicago. Today’s weather according to weather.com was “wintry mix” What the heck is wintry mix? It shows me a little cloud with rain and 2 snowflakes. Am I to infer that the clouds will be dishing me up an exciting grab bag of semi-melted snowflakes? or hardened raindrops? I don’t know, it’s a mix. Maybe some mistletoe and leftover chrismukkah accesories will drop out of the sky

  I got a chance to see a bunch of people I haven’t talked to in a long time, such as Evan, who is wearing is trademark picture face. Evan has gotten in fights with Both Ben Savage and Andy Dick, along with who knows how many other celebrities in the time I have known him…and he has always won…

  A few weeks ago, on some ER show on Animal Planet, I watched a turtle get an enema. Seriously, no joke. This lady took her turtle to the vet since it hadn’t pooped in a long while, for a turtle. They got out a tiny little hose, flipped the turtle over, and you can guess the rest…and if you can’t, google “enema” (but not at work) The poor thing was waving its little arms and legs around like mad and had the most astonished expression on its teenyt little face (or maybe I am just projecting) Probably qualified as that particular turtles worst day ever. Anyhoo, funny stuff

  
  

  But it did leave me wondering how often the vet did this that she had a tiny turtle enema kit all prepared in her office and everything, or at least the stuff to make one. And the turtle owner didn’t even question this. It was like, your turtle can’t poop? Well let me take this tiny hose and shoot a jet of water up it’s behind, and the woman was like, okay sounds like a plan. When did they teach this in vetinary school?
