  Signs of Imminent Admission to the ED

  • Signs of ‘Homesteading’ (PSS – Positive Suitcase Sign)
  • Sunglasses
  • Pulse oximetry < Age
  • Blood pressure < Age
  • Age > Temperature (Farenheight)
  • Sent in from Nursing Home
    • On a Friday afternoon after 5pm
    • On a public Holiday
    • With no referral letter and no contact number provide
