Usually as part of a mental status exam, I ask patients who the President of the country is. If they don’t know that, it’s pretty bad. It’s kind of annoying when a patient refuses to answer on account of not liking the President.
This was my favorite response to that question:
“An asshole.”

I enjoy reading your posts. Gain some funny insight into the medical world. I’m only a college student majoring in pharmacy right now but mann…it’s interesting and scary to see how tough it is.

these are hilarious. and yes, my husband has told me he always asks the president question. AND… “what year is it?” amazing what good answers you will get with that one…
